Description

Led Zeppelin II RL Robert Ludwig Hot Mix
Original 1969 Terre Haute Press Decent!
An overall decent copy, Side one track one does skip pretty bad, but the rest of the album plays well. I gave it a full listen, and will describe in detail.
Side One: From the needle drop it skips inward for the first 1/8 of the song. It plays decent for a while then the same type of skip starts again toward the end of the song. The rest of the side plays fine, just light to moderate noise during quiet passages and between tracks. Toward the end of the last song "Thank You" there is one moderate pop that skipped forward one time and just popped on others. In all cases it played through and did not get stuck in a repeating skip.
Side Two: Played fine all the way through with just  just light to moderate noise during quiet passages and between tracks. I would play grade it as a solid VG or better.
Please keep in mind different tables & stylus will provide different results. I'm using a Jico SAS which tend to be very revealing, Your results may vary. All in all a decent playe other than Whole lotta love. It definitely has That Sound!
The gatefold sleeve is G/G+ I repaired the splits as shown.
I have no idea what to price this at TBH, so I'm running with no reserve, you tell me lol!
Some Additional Info: Deadwax Side One:  ST-A-69171-1A  RL is just above the pressing # Side Two:  ST-A-69172-1A RL is about 1/ way before pressing # There is no SS, and the other digits are hard to make out. I added a couple of pics. It is definitely an RL Hot press on both sides!
