Description

This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the sole LP by Stone Country, released in 1968.  Remembered today for the involvement of outlaw/alt-country performer Steve Young, who assumes lead guitar and vocal duties, the group played a heady mix of folk-rock, country-rock, psych-rock, and orchestrated pop.  Group banjo/twelve-string guitar player Don Beck also played with Dillard & Clark and the Flying Burrito Bros.  The jacket has a small cut corner, corner wear, light spine and seam wear, light ring wear and staining on the back cover, and a little writing in pen on the back cover (see photo) -- EX(-).  The disc is clean with some light scraping and scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise and occasional crackling -- EX(-).  The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
