Description

An original 1st press of Who's Next on the UK Track label from 1971. Matrix 1/2. Etching 'MG12888'. Please note labels are matt and flat, NOT shiny and ridged - as per 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original 'Marketed by Polydor' MacNeill cover with pinched spine. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are mostly silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect were a few crackles in the intro to 'Getting In Tune' & 'Baba O'Rily' - quite brief and certainly nothing invasive or persistent. For the remainder of the record expect a super rendition.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has clearly been cared for down the years. Nice clean front and rear with just a couple of slight creases. There's a bit of edge wear in places, but overall it's quite minor for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The text on the spine is mostly still legible - but there's a bit of wear here and there. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Barely any ageing. No splits or markings.
