Description

An original 1st press of Who's Next on the UK Track label from 1971. Matrix 1/2. Etching 'MG12888'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original 'Marketed by Polydor' MacNeill cover with pinched spine. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Getty close to a perfect rendition - just very nice clean audio all the way through...even in those slow-build moments. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All we could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Truly a top-level performer...it would be very difficult to surpass this one on the audio front.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been cared for down the years. Nice clean front with just a couple of slight creases. The rear is in nice shape too with only some very light handling wear - far less than you usually find. There's a bit of edge wear in places e.g. bottom edge, but overall it's quite minor for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The text on the spine is all still legible - but there is a bit of wear here and there. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. Light ageing at extremities. No markings.
