Queen - A Night at the Opera LP 1975 UK 1st Press Complete
PRESSING DETAILS: EMTC 103 UK EMI 1st Press with 'Blairs' etched in run-out on both sides. (-2/-2) matrix endings.
SLEEVE: (EX+) Original embossed UK gatefold sleeve with one side opening and one side factory sealed. Printed and made in England by Garrod & Lofthouse Limited. Truly exceptional condition with very light wear. One or two marks but no creasing and very isolated yellowing from age. Stunning! The spine is NM with virtually no wear. All text is clearly readable. It would be very hard to find a better original UK 1st press cover!
INNER SLEEVE: (VG-) Original card picture inner with cut corners is superb but has a 2.5" split in the middle of the bottom edge.
RECORD LABELS: side 1 (VG+) side 2 (VG+) Clean labels with no writing and no stickers. A few light spindle marks noticeable when viewed under bright light.
VINYL CONDITION VISUALLY: side 1 (VG) side 2 (VG) Vinyl it flat and glossy with isolated wear. Both sides have light paper scuffs and hairlines when viewed under bright light. There is a long hairline that goes across the side 2 that is visible in normal light and some clearly visible scuffing on side 1 track 1.
Strict grading using Record Collector grading system. All records are sent in correct record mailers or cruciform box with cardboard stiffners and the vinyl removed for the the original inner and put in a new polylined inner sleeve outside of the cover to make sure no splits happen during delivery. All vinyl is sent tracked and signed for.
