ONE s/t TOP! 1969 UK Prog Rock Psych lp Fontana Records VG+

1970/Canada/Fontana Records 888.562….. here’s a nice original pressing of this rare UK Prog Psych lp. The laminated gatefold cover is from France, exactly as issued here with the Canadian record. The gatefold cover is in clean condition with light corner wear/paper loss, light shelf/ring wear, spotty laminate lift on outer edge, small spotty wear on bottom seam, water stain lower left corner, light creases on left edge, delete hole top right corner, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits. The vinyl is in VG+ condition with a few light scuffs/scratches, a few tiny grit scratches and a bit of discoloration in spots. The record plays nice with light noise at cue which fades into the music quickly, there is light noise between tracks and the odd spot and a few light ticks.  There are no skips, jumps, sticks and overall it’s an enjoyable listen.  Canada did not issue a cover for this record and the covers were imported from Europe for this lp and a few others that come to mind. This is the Original pressing to Canada in 1970 and is very rare. Please check my auctions for other psych, garage and rock lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!

GRADING

MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
