JOHN COLTRANE A Love Supreme orange/black IMPULSE AS-77 STEREO
VAN GELDER stamped on both sides in the dead wax, matrix numbers AS-77 A and AS-77 B.
Note on Stereo/Mono: The original recordings of this album were in Stereo. Not Mono. Hence the original format is Stereo.
Vinyl condition: VG++: full gloss, only a few superficial surface scuffs from the inner sleeve which can only be seen under strong light Labels condition: NM: like new, sharp center hole, no spindle wear Jacket condition: VG: only a hint of ring wear (glossy jacket surface at places slightly matte when tilted against the light), one stain of approx 1.5"x0.4" on both sides on the edge of the inner gatefold (see photo---this is the reason that the jacket isn't VG++), also 1 tiny corner ding less than 1/8" (see photo)
My gradings are conservative. Only a brand new record may be graded Mint. Only an entirely flawless and absolutely like new record may be graded Near Mint. Also I'm downgrading due to age. This record probably would be graded Near Mint by many other sellers. It is a keeper copy, would be hard to find a better one.
