Holiday Greetings From the Bunch at Orange
Edison Diamond Disc Promotional Record
This is the celebrated 1924 promotional recording, made by the Edison Co. executives and given to Edison dealers to promote sales for the Holiday season and the following year. The highlight of the disc is that Thomas Edison himself speaks briefly at the end of side two. The record was never issued commercially, so copies are quite scarce today. This example has clean labels with no writing or stickers. There is some surface wear from the record being without a protective sleeve for some time, but there are no major defects that would cause tracking problems. There is no moisture damage and groove wear is minimal, so the record still plays quite well. I'll grade it a 7 on a scale of 10. This unique recording rarely turns up for sale - don't miss this opportunity to acquire a copy.
