Description
Up for auction is a RARE 78 rpm Edison Diamond Disc:
EDISON 10067 "Holiday Greetings From the Bunch At Orange"
Parts 1&2
This rare diamond disc 10 inch was only distributed to Edison merchants/dealers in their shops and was never made for the public at large. It was made and sent out during the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years holiday season of 1924 as a way of good tidings and as a little pep talk of sorts to the merchants that Edison Records was there to aid them in the years to come!
You hear the voices of the "bunch at Orange"-- the team from Orange, NJ that made Edison the top notch company it was--- including Thomas Edison himself towards the end of 'Part 2'!!!
GRADING:
Visually clean and shiny with a handful of light to moderate scuff marks and scratches on playing disc portion itself. Nothing deep!
There is no lamb cracks! There is no rises or water damage to disc!!! There is a small chip on the outside edge that measures about an inch that does not affect playing surface area and again--is relegated to only to a small portion of outside side/edge.
Audibly - unfortunately I cannot vouch for it as I do not have a Edison player (I have several 78 rpm players, but any Edison model has escaped me). I would visually grade this at a E- or perhaps a numerical grade of 8/10. I however have heard the recording of this and it is definitely a must for the deep Edison collector!!!
I Ship Worldwide. Please note my honest and reasonable Shipping Rates. They are: US: 4.00, REST OF WORLD: IT SHOULD ALREADY BE CALCULATED FOR YOU
I PROMISE TO PACK THIS ITEM UP WELL AND WITH THE UTMOST CARE! (I have had great success thus far with packing fragile 78/Edison Recordings in the past and will ship to your demands)
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding this or any of my other items up for auction.
Thanks and Good Luck!
