Item:  RARE  “Holiday Greetings from the Bunch at Orange” - Edison Diamond Disc 10067 - NO MARKS!

BASED ON VISUAL INSPECTION, THESE MAY WELL BE THE BEST TWO PLAYING SIDES YOU ARE EVER GOING TO FIND FOR THIS DISC.

This was only the second production record containing the voice of Thomas A. Edison himself.  The first, "Let Us Not Forget," released on both cylinder and Diamond Disc, is also the only other Diamond Disc to have a special sleeve specifically designed for it.

Manufactured and issued only once, in the Fall of 1924, this Diamond Disc was sent only to Edison dealers and jobbers, as an audio Christmas Card of sorts, and was never made available to the public.

Several members of the Edison factory team speak on this record and, during the last few seconds of Side Two, Thomas A. Edison himself speaks a few words.  This record gives the listener a little insight into the talking machine retail trade in the U.S.A. at that time.

It is estimated that only 400 were made.

Part 1:

Label:  Graphics clear and crisp.  Slight spindle hole wear.  Little or no paper wear.  Some spotting and discoloration with age (See photo #1).

Disc:  Full gloss.  NO MARKS.  No cracks, No chips, No pits, No needle runs.  No writing.  It is possible this side was never played.

Part 2:

Label:  Graphics clear and crisp.  Slight spindle hole wear.  Little or no paper wear.  Light spotting and discoloration with age (See photo #2).

Disc:  Full gloss.  NO MARKS.  No cracks, No chips, No pits, No needle runs.  No writing.  It is possible this side was never played.

Sleeve:  Modern plain sleeve.

Notables:  I do not have a Diamond Disc player and am not a professional record grader.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING for 1-2 78’s via USPS media mail in an LP box with cardboard sandwich is $4.00 or $8.00 in an oversized box with cardboard sandwich, bubble wrap, and extra filler.  DOMESTIC SHIPPING for 3-4 78’s must be in an $8.00 oversized box with cardboard sandwich, bubble wrap, and extra filler.

Overseas shipping for this item is $16 for 1st Class International (5-10 days).   International Priority (3-5 days, includes limited insurance) and Global Express (1-3 days) also available. 1st Class International mail DOES NOT include insurance or any way of tracking your package once it leaves the U.S. If you have had issues with non-delivery of packages, I would strongly recommend requesting Priority Air or Registered Mail service to cut down the risk factor.  It is more expensive but should be considered for more valuable purchases. I assure you that I will package, label and ship all packages properly and in a timely manner.  Italy & Brazil MUST add registered!
