This 1980 UK reissue contains all of the truly brilliant recordings Eddie did for the Vee Jay label in Chicago between 1955 and 1964. Taylor was always the best and most reliable sideman around but when he stood up to front the band that's when he really shined. Great vocals, lyrics, guitar playing and performances all around. Helped along the way by Jimmy Reed, George Mayweather, Jimmy Lee Robinson, Earl Phillips, Johnny Jones and Hubert Sumlin among others just adds to this tasty pie !
