THE BEATLES - 'SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND'
1969 UK PARLOPHONE *MONO* LP
**WITHOUT 'SOLD IN UK..' LABEL TEXT**
This rare 1969 MONO pressing is the final version of the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7027
The labels OMIT the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' mono cover.
Complete with its original white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve & cut-out sheet.
The catalogue number is written on the inner sleeve.)

Some spindle marks & light hole wear but no major faults.
Visual: VERY GOOD PLUS
Both surfaces bright & clean bearing just an occaisional light surface mark and small hairline scratch but no major faults.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals only some wispy paper hairlines but no further marks or damage.
Quality, thick, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS
Carefully and not overplayed, the sound is powerful & clear and without any significant deterioration to the sound quality.
There is slight wear on 'She's Leaving Home' but otherwise the disc is free from major crackle or groovewear distortion.
There are no heavy clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS
Pristine, high-gloss, undamaged laminate bearing just some light spine wrinkles & light creases towards the opening edge.
The corners display some light bruising and the opening edges are clean with just light wear only.
The inside of the gatefold is in clean and glossy condition with no marks or writing.
There is a 5mm area of damage to the rear upper seam only but the spine's laminate is unsplit & all the text is clean & readable.
