Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band LP
1) Original 1st pressing LP from 1967 in MONO
2) FIRST MOTHERS on both sides of the LP
3) Also a superb example of an original WIDESPINE cover.
4) A complete set with LP, red/white psychedelic inner of the first pressing, and the cardboard cutouts.

Outer Cover
* Original Garrod and Lofthouse manufacture.
* WIDESPINE cover in superb condition, spine approximately 8mm wide.
* EX condition
* No damage, no tears, no writing, just a few creases in the laminate.
* Bold white spine and the bold black writing exceptionally bright and clear, as I hope is clear from the second photo. Light scuffing of the end 2mm
* Original sales sticker of the selling shop still stuck on the back, as shown in the last photo.
Inner Cover
* The psychedelic red/white inner sleeve only issued with the 1st pressing.
* Rated EX++
* No seamsplits.
* No tears, no damage, no writing, no seamsplits.
* Just one crease in the paper in one corner.
* A nice bright red colour on the one side, on the other side the white colour is still a nice white even after 40 years ageing.
LP
* Original yellow/black Parlophone label.
* EX
* First pressing.
* First matrices on vinyl runoff XEX637-1 and 638-1
* First mother pressing on both sides. Stampers are 1T and 1P
* The correct KT tax code for 1967 stamped on side 1.
* Both sides have been played and listened to all the way through. Detailed play notes at the bottom of the page. All music tracks play graded Excellent- to EX+at least.

Visual and Play of the LP
This LP has been not only visually rated, but also each track has been played and listened to all the way through on a quality deck with a new stylus.
Side 1 - Visually rated VG++ several light scratches and surface rubbing. Play grading of all tracks was EX+ , overall play grading reduced to EX- due to some light background noise on leaving home and several quiet ticks detected in the quiet gap that followed it. No hops, no jumps, no sticks etc etc.
Side 2 - Visually EX- Better than side 1, no deep scratches, some light surface rubbing. Play graded EX- no ticks, no loud clicks, no crackle, no hops, no jumps. Two tracks were not "perfect" (rita and sgt pepper), with just an occasional hint of background noise
All LPs are professionally cleaned before dispatch.
