Description

Here we have a major rarity. The ORIGINAL Sgt. Pepper MONO PMC 7027 LP WITH THE VERY RARE FOURTH PROOF COVER in good condition from 1967. (The 'fourth proof' cover, which was let out to the market by mistake due to extremely high demand of the, then, new Beatles album in summer 1967. ) Vinyl is in EX to EX- condition with a few surface scratches, but nothing serious. Comes with the Garrod & Lofthouse Flipbackcover with the Fourth proof on inner flipback - see pictures.  Cover is VG. (Inside VG+) NO writings ( a faded name on the front - can not be seen the picture), NO cuts. But the spine has some damage BUT NO split.  Both labels are clean and in EX and VG+ condition. With KT tax code on side 2.  Yellow/Black Parlophone Label with Sold in UK and The Grammophone Company. The record is complete with the Cut Out in EX condition. Matrix numbers: XEX-637-1/XEX-638-1.
