On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1240
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold mono cover.
Complete with it original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

An impressive set with just a small number of spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: 1. EXCELLENT + 2. EXCELLENT
Both surfaces of this disc retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines & are unmarked in strong daylight with not a scuff, mark or scratch in sight. Close & careful inspection directly under my powerful halogen light reveals numerous wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines on side 2, but no other significant marks or wear. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This exquisite copy plays and sounds 'as new' throughout. My careful play-check at volume could not detect any traces of groovewear or background noise on or between any track. Neither is there a single tick, click or pop anywhere. Upgrading this copy would be difficult.
Cover
NEAR MINT
This is without doubt one of the best example of this cover I have seen. It is notoriously fragile but this example looks like it left the shop this morning, let alone 45 years ago! The front leaf is perfectly clean, flat & glossy with no signs of wear to any of the delicate edges. All corners are perfectly clean, sharp with just a small bruise to the rear upper left. The rear panel is just as fine with only a few tiny edge wrinkles but none of the usual disc impression. The cover's only significant blemish is some laminate lifting to the rear spine area, but this has not split and is fully intact.
Both panels of the inside gatefold are 'as new' with no wear or discolouration to any part, let alone any writing or missing paper.
All seams are smooth and undamaged, as is the white, square and unsquashed spine which retains its factory 'pinched' ends. You will not find a cleaner example.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with just slight age-toning. There are 3 tiny repaired tears to the centre-hole on one side & a small written number in one corner.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
