Coil - Gold Is The Metal (With The Broadest Shoulders) LP - Threshold House - LOCI 1 - FIRST ORIGINAL PRESS - PLAYED ONLY ONCE - SUPER RARE & OOP Throbbing Gristle are probably in my top 5 favorite bands of all time, so when that group splintered up and formed groups like Coil and Psychic TV, of course I would collect their works too!  This particular album is probably my favorite Coil record along with "Horse Rotorvator". 
This is the original Threshold House press of this LP from 1987.  It is a first press and was limited to 2000 copies on black vinyl.  You can tell it's a first press by the matrix / runout etchings which are as follows:  

• Matrix / Runout (Side A, etchings): Me And My Shadow MPO LOCI- 1 A1
• Matrix / Runout (Side B, etchings): Underneath All That Ever Was.. MPO LOCI 1 B1

I only played this LP once, so it is in the exact same excellent condition as when I first purchased it.  The vinyl and inner sleeve look as perfect as when I first received the record nearly 30 years ago.  The outer sleeve looks excellent and has just the tiniest, nearly imperceptible bit of edge wear and a hairline crinkle in one corner (no surprise giving the age of this album).  Basically, this album looks fantastic for its age and is pretty much in the exact same excellent condition as when I picked it up all those years ago.  You probably won't find a copy that is in this condition!  
I have been an avid music collector for over 30 years now but due to space limitations I am looking to slim my collection down a bit.  Please give this item a happy home!  It has always been exceptionally well cared for and been in a smoke-free environment.
