For sale is this Very Rare Stereo copy of The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour double EP 45 on Parlophone Records. These discs have the pushout centers that do NOT have “Sold In The U.K. Subject to Resale Price Conditions. See Price Lists.”
This particular EPs album is Very Rare because Side # 4 “Blue Jay Way” has the matrix number 7XCE stamped in the dead wax instead of 7YCE. The 7XCE matrix number is for the MONO pressings only. The Stereo pressings on sides 1, 2, & 3 bear the matrix number 7YCE. This side of the EP actually plays in MONO instead of it’s designated Stereo. Not many EPs were released in this state before Quality Control made the correction, making this copy a true collectable!
In the U.K, the "Magical Mystery Tour" soundtrack was released as a special double E.P. package.
As The Beatles had six songs for release, it was decided that they would release a double-EP set. The package came with a gatefold sleeve and a 28-page book, including lyrics.
The Gatefold sleeve including the 28 page booklet with the yellow lyrics pages grade NEAR MINT! The discs and their white inner sleeves Grade NEAR MINT!
