WELCOME TO OUR AUCTION!
On offer today is a Original 1967 UK Pessing of The Beatles 'Magical Mystery Tour' double EP!
This isn't your standard 1st press issue by a long shot! This is an ultra rare Mono / Stereo mispressing and I am almost certain the next one of these that comes up for sale will be a very long time!
What makes this particular EP so special I hear you say? The fact is that whilst Side 1,2 and 4 playback in Mono (as it should do) The amasing thing about this version is that Side 3 plays back in STEREO! This is a genuine mispressing and not a mono and stereo record mismatched together like so many copies are! This is a genuine mess up at the pressing plant in 1967 where whilst pressing the records which was obviously a 'Mono' run, Somebody accidentally mixed up the stampers on record 2 so one side plays Stereo and the other plays Mono! What's even more AMASING is that all four labels are 'Mono'!
This is a genuine 1967 UK 1st pressing of The Beatles 'Magical Mystery Tour' 2x7" EP (MMT-1) complete with Blue lyrics pages and 'Sold in the U.K.' text! Also comes complete with original inners! I have taken photos of the indervidual matrix no's so you can see for yourself!
Matrix No's : (7XCE is Mono / 7YCE is Stereo)
SIDE 1 : 7XCE 18435-1 SIDE 2 : 7XCE 18434-1 SIDE 3 : 7YCE 18436-1 SIDE 4 : 7XCE 18437-2
Sleeve / Booklet Condition : VG+ : The Garrod and Lofthouse 1st press flipback booklet sleeve is great condition for its age! Slight aging to the white parts and very light wear to the spine, but still all graphics are crystal clear and the booklet its firmly attached where it should be. A very nice example! Inner sleeves have aged over time
Records Condition : Disc 1 : VG+ / Disc 2 : VG+ (Only a few very light marks on the playing surfaces and still plenty of sheen!)
+ FREE UK & INTERNTIONAL POSTAGE ON THIS ITEM!

Grading system.
- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
- EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
- VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
- GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
- FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
- POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
- BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
