Description
We have a wonderful Beatles Butcher cover paste over for you here. All seams are in tack except for a small 1 inch crack in the seam on the lower binder side. This is the mono version with the #6 on the lower right side of the back (pressed in LA). Ringos V-neck is clear in the photo and the cover is in great shape with just slight yellowing on the right side that is enhanced by the camera flash, it is not as vivid as picture shows. The back has a slight bit of ring showing on the upper and lower right side. The front has very very slight ring wear to the right of the trunk only. We try to give you all minimal flaws so you can judge and bid accordingly. The record itself is really not up for bid, it is just the cover, however the record will be included with the win. It is the original rainbow labeled release but has many small scratches on it. I do not have a player so I cannot tell you if it plays, but you are bidding on the record sleeve and not the record in this auction. Again, you will however get the record with your win. You will also receive a printed instruction and history on the butcher album by Jim Kendall (jimk@fab4.uucp) just in case you are one of those people that want to peel this album cover. These are getting rarer and rarer as people peel them, so the decision should be thought out well. These book in mint condition for more than $1000. There are no tears or holes punched in this album cover. Thanks for looking and I know the winner will enjoy this piece of Beatles history.
