Description
the OLD MAN AND THE SEA: same, DK Sonet 1972 orig. pressing. This copy a scratch that clicks occasionally at the end of side two, nothing bad. Plays mostly Excellent with undistorted and great soundquality. Expect a few clicks, maybe about 10-12 that are very audible, and a few more thown in here and there. nothing that ruins the overall listening experience. Side ONE plays Excellent, side TWO maybe a bit below. Side ONE visual VG++, side TWO visual VG, w. 3 very visual marks/hairlines, one of which is producing the clicks. But overall PLAYS 95% excellent, with really great sound. Cover is nice VG++, with minor corner wear only. Nice enough medium copy, just not for the mint-people. Still a great player. A mint- copy should be 400-500 USD! Getting so incredible rare.
GRADINGS: I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING: There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
