For sale:
7" THE CLASH "White Riot" b/w "1977" (CBS 5058) UK 1977 first pressing
Original first press punk single with picture sleeve - different sleeves exist for this 45, some with straight edged cuts, some with curved cuts. This one has a straight cut, which sits quite deep and you can see printing on the inside from it. On closer inspection the cover has been printed on the inside, but off to one side by about an inch - with just the green ink, no pink! Original A1/B1 stampers, and what appear to be A1 and A2 "mother stampers" - so possibly one of the very earliest runs or a mis-printing? Never seen one of these before...
Matrix A: etched CBS-S-5058-A-1 with mother stamp "A" on left and either "1" or "7" on right (hard to tell!)
Matrix B: etched CBS-S-5058-B-1 with mother stamp "A" on left and "2" on right

GRADING: (disc / cover) EX/VG
DESCRIPTION: Disc has a few light scuffs. Labels clean. Picture sleeve shows light general wear (light creasing, some fraying on top edge and 3" seam split on bottom edge). Disc will be sent in fresh white inner sleeve.
POSTAGE: All items sent registered. UK: £3.75 (Recorded Delivery) or £8.75 (Special Delivery) / EUROPE: £9.75 / REST OF WORLD: £10.75. All prices include £5 charge for registered/signed for post - I'm happy to combine shipping costs - additional items sent half price (and registered charge has already been charged!)
