I picked up this beautiful piece of rock history a few years ago and hate to part with it, but unfortunately I have some recent financial issues requiring me to sell most of my collection. It has been stored in my air conditioned home studio on my record shelf. See my other auctions for more Beatles!
You won’t find a 2nd State as clearly a Butcher cover, void of peeling and with only reasonable age and wear to it! This Unpeeled butcher cover is so cool! You can see from the pictures that this copy is quite unique and completely unpeeled!!!
Rated a high VG based on what Goldmine says.
This cover is pasted off center, so you are clearly able to see the butcher cover behind (especially on the left side and top). Ringo’s V neck is seen on the right side and the back displays the number 6 meaning it’s an LA mono pressing. The spine has some minor wear like the paper is starting to age. No split or holes..and the top and bottom are near perfect other than some discoloration from age. The front has some staining in spots but still a lot of white and gloss/shine. Back cover has some ring wear. The record sleeve is orange and has some tape at the bottom holding it together. I placed the vinyl into a new white sleeve. Speaking of the vinyl..it’s in really nice shape and probably would be rated VG+ based on Goldmine. It has very little wear, no warp and plays quiet. Numbers on the vinyl read T-2-2553-F21 and T-1-2553-G-22
