Description
Circa '69-'70 WITH THE BEATLES stereo on PARLOPHONE label ("ONE BOX" EMI logo), matrices YEX 110-2 / YEX 111-2. Cover graded EX-, laminate front has some creasing and light abrasions as this is of course a very hard cover to stay perfect, looks better than pic. Back isn't bright white but clean. The label has no spindle marks and the album plays like it. There are occasional anomalies common to British pressings, but exceptionally clean and quiet, no distortion. The vinyl is shiny and extremely few hairlines. Been cleaned with a VPI record cleaner and played on a Linn Sondek LP 12. Great tube feel with the warmth, strength, and smoothness missing from the later HJM transistor pressings. This a great way to acquire the same sound as an original 1963 pressing without the cost and searching for acceptable playback on heavier weight vinyl.
