Description
Hello and welcome to my auction.
I have taken many pictures of this record as seen above.
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
I never ship records inside the picture covers or LP jackets.
THE PRETTY THINGS.
SF SORROW.
UK STEREO 1968 COLUMBIA 1st PRESSING LP - SCX 6306.
This pressing has G1 - G1 stamping codes so it was in the firt few pressed!
The front cover has been autographed by Phil May and Dick Taylor. These autographs are 100% the real deal.
The Record / VG condition.
This is a nice VG with some light surface wear and light marks only under halogen bulb. The disc has NO bad of nasty marks that stop or ruin play.
Sound / play grading / VG+ / A decent playing example with some surface crackle under some parts. This is still a good 1st pressing to play and enjoy.
Matrix Numbers / YAX 3738-1 / YAX 3739 -1
Vinyl Weight / 141 grams.
The Cover / Good+ condition.
A solid cover with some creasing and storage wear. Some of the edges have been tided up with black ink pen on close inspection. G+ is a strict and careful grade. The bottom of the cover has a small 1" split.
The cover was manufactured by E J Day.
The Labels / VG+ condition.
The Inner Cover / VG- condition with a small rip.

I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
