For sale here is a WHITE LABEL test press record, T Rex The Slider.
Released in 1972.

vinyl and sleeve marked 'BLN 5001 A-2U Bobil Solid Gold is gold-MARK ILPA-1U'
                                        'BLN 5001 B-2U THE MAD MONK MARK ILPA 2U'

Interestingly Ringo Starr is credited on the back of side 2 for the photography.

Apologies to all watchers of the previous auction, I have found out more about this item so have relisted it with all the relevant information.

The sleeve is also a pre production sample, it is slightly oversized as it has not been folded back down at the edges as it is not a 'finished product' as it would be sold in final form. It has also not been glued together as it should be.

The inner sleeve is also not stuck together as it should be.
There are no old folds or glue traces, this is a genuine factory pre release test cover, never glued or folded or put together properly as a finished product. Given to EMI sales representatives

Vinyl looks to have never been played BUT it has been scratched, track 1 looks like it wont play, the other tracks looks like they would play but there is scratch across all of them, please see pictures.

There is some dust inside the sleeve.

Very minor curling along the top of the cover.

This is part of a collection that I am selling for a family member who inherited it from their uncle, who was an EMI records sales representative.
