The Story of the Clash, Vol. 1 is a double-disc compilation album by the English punk rock band The Clash. It was released with 28 tracks on 29 February 1988 through Epic Records. The compilation presents a relatively thorough overview of their career (except Cut the Crap). An anticipated second volume was to have consisted of live recordings but remains unreleased.

A note on condition...
I’m not a pro or a record store owner, but I have been collecting for a long time and have done my best to describe the condition.
Condition:
Record: Very Good Plus to Excellent . This album was NOT Play-Tested. It looks great however, with no visible scratches or marks Not sure that I played this album much as I mostly played cassette tapes back then, so I may have purchased this just to have in my collection.
Jacket: Very Good Plus to Excellent - No holes, cuts etc.Extremely light surface scratching from storage. Almost non-existent ring wear on front and back. No splits of any kind - no noticeable edge wear.
Sleeve: Generic White Paper Type
All in all, this is a great LP -- described and graded visually and audibly -- at a remarkable starting price.
Again, please remember that I am not an expert but I try to grade very fairly. I visually and/or audibly grade all records. Please keep in mind that some of these records/vinyl are pre-owned and over 30 or 40 years old. Some may have some slight surface noise and/or a crackle and/or other imperfections and will NOT sound like a “new” record, unless listed as mint/unopened.
