The Beatles Revolver LP was the 7th album released by the fab four on the 5th of August 1966. It reached number 1 for 7 weeks and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks.

QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT 166g

Professionally cleaned with a Vacuum Record Cleaner and then Ultrasonically cleaned too..

I have just listened to the WHOLE ALBUM and found a lovely clear audio reproduction. Lovely and quiet inbetween tracks too. With only a bit of VERY light crackle in the run-outs...That is all.

Certainly:

NO SKIPS

NO JUMPS

NO STICKS

Visually there are just light marks to the vinyl, but nothing to have any significant impact on playback...Even the long mark on side 2 was not heard AT ALL in playback :)...For evidence of this: please listen to the last track of side 2, which I have recorded (including the transition between the penultimate track, into the last track-just to show there is no significant background noise at all.

The audio is really rich and full of clear highs and wonderfully deep bassy lows.

Barely any background noise at all...Superb original sound.

There are many light spindle marks, with some central hole wear, as can be seen in the images provided.

***NOW, HERE'S THE UNUSUAL BIT.....both labels have the more 'Gothic' typeface, rather than the blocked typeface..BUT THAT ISN'T THE ONLY UNUSUAL PART....The track listing follows on from the end of each credit, rather than listing from the left to right normal way-Have a look at the copy you've got and see the difference-This is more of a wrap around listing to the label...VERY RARELY SEEN…

It has Taxman & Eleanor Rigby on the same line.

ALSO HAS A LARGER CATALOGUE NUMBER

It is still gorgeously black & white.

There are some light spidering lines to the front laminate-near the opening, as well as a a few fingers of spidering emanating from the seams, but nothing terrible at all.

SMALL MONO

The corners have just slight rubbing and knocking to them, but remain strong and angular, as you can see in the images provided.

Strong and clean Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks.

WONDERFULLY strong spine...SUPERB!

NO writing.

Would frame very well.

Inner:

It is the original inner with the much rarer "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" text to the bottom left corner on one side.

Only some light creasing and some age discolouration (like me ;)-that really is it!!!

I did notice a small catalogue number to the top left corner of one side.

She has certainly done her job in keeping this record in great condition for the last 55 years!

"MADE IN ENGLAND" also printed to one side.
