"In May 1997, Lo Recordings received a DAT Tape containing 30 different one-minute guitar pieces by Thurston Moore. Each piece was copied onto individual tapes and packaged in custom designed vacuum cleaner bags. One hundred bags were sent out to a selection of visual artists and musicians, inviting them to create a brand new work, utilising the original piece as a starting point."

Includes musical pieces by Blur, Stereolab, Mogwai, Add N to X, Merzbow, Bruce Gilbert (of Wire), Alec Empire, Luke Vibert, Scanner, Springheel Jack, V/Vm, Derek Bailey and many more.

A selection of images from the "Root Exhibition" of visual pieces is included on the foldout insert.

- All pretty much clean and unmarked. Virtually no sign of any play or handling.

Box - EX
- Tray is EX Plus - No marks or writing, No edge or corner wear, No splits, No creasing.
- Lid is EX - No splits - just very light corner rubbing and general handling/storage marks.

Insert - EX Minus
- No sticker marks or writing, No ringwear, No creasing.
- One or two very faint "spot stains" - Nothing Drastic!
- Just the very lightest of general handling/storage marks.

Labels - All EX Plus
- Clean and unmarked. No wear, writing or sticker marks. No spindle marks. No fading.

Despatch and Packing :-

All items are normally posted within 48 hours of receiving payment.

Purpose-designed mailing/packaging materials will be used.

Your record(s) will be well protected against the rigours of normal handling/shipping, including getting wet in the rain!

All records are packed outside of their main packaging (in a new plain inner where necessary), to avoid sleeve splits in transit.
