Description
Here we have a nice original copy of The Velvet Underground & Nico's Self Titled debut album from 1967. This was the band's first studio album and is perhaps one of the most iconic albums of all time. This particular copy is the rare stereo 1st issue pressed on the silver and blue West Coast Verve labels. The rear cover has the unlicensed Emerson torso which was promptly covered up and removed on subsequent pressings. The banana decal has been completely removed. An original Verve inner sleeve is included with the album.
The record is in weak VG+ condition, with some surface scratches and scuffs. The record plays through nicely, with moderate surface noise. The cover is in VG condition, with ring wear, edge wear, staining, sticker residue, and some old tape along the edges. Please see all the pictures to determine the condition.
