Description
GINGER BAKER'S AIR FORCE self titled POLYDOR 2LP gatefold sleeve 2662 001!
Original UK double LP with gatefold sleeve, includes both paper/poly lined inner sleeves. Released in 1970, on the POLYDOR Label.
Catalogue number: 2662 001.
Gatefold cover is Misprinted (the back sleeve is the front/titled part)
VERY GOOD/NEAR MINT/NEAR MINT CONDITION
Overall a solid gatefold sleeve in VERY GOOD condition but displaying some light/heavy sleeve wear, sticker trace mark on titled sleeve, heavy spine wear with middle sleeve split (does not show through onto the inner gatefold sleeve), top/bottom sleeve edge wear, record sleeve ring wear, light (untitled) sleeve indent marks and some light superficial sleeve cracks/creases throughout, middle sleeve's appearance is VERY GOOD+. There are no rips/tears, and no deep lined sleeve creases. Original inner paper/poly lined sleeves are in VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD condition, slightly browned with age, artist/title name written on one corner, and some light handling wear evident, no tears* or splits (*small die-cut edge tear on record two sleeve).
All record labels are in NEAR MINT condition, clean, with no major damage* and with just a few tiny faint traces of spindle hole marks on sides 3 and 4. There is some tiny spindle edge hole flashing evident on record one. (*labels do have some tiny light print mottle markings, probably a result of initial printing/pressing or from storage). All playing surfaces and matrix areas retain the full original glossy sheen and are in NEAR MINT condition, there are no immediate visible surface scuffs/marks however there are a few (almost negligible) tiny/small ultra light fine line surface scuffs which only show up when closely viewed and angled under a strong bright light.
