Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for an original STEREO 1st pressing of the Beatles LP 'Rubber Soul' on the yellow / black Parlophone label.
In 1965, when this LP was released, the stereo format was still very much a novelty. As stereophonic record players still cost a lot more than mono record players, and because stereo records cost a lot more than their mono counterparts, hardly anybody ever bought the stereo copies. Because of this, mono copies are everywhere but the original stereo copies are incredibly hard to find!

The cover is in a very decent, respectable condition! The front has a lovely, rich colour to it and a clean laminate with just a little light rubbing and disc impression. There's a few little creases running around the edges and the corners look a little rounded, but these are minor blemishes as you can see in the photos above. The top seam is holding perfectly. The bottom seam has a few little paper tears but has not split and is holding tightly. The spine is looking pefect with pinched top and bottom and no creases, damage or anything. The back cover is clean bar a few little brown spots as you can see in the photos, and a little, light browning down the mouth edge. The overflaps are all holding tightly with a few little creases running through them. Overall, the sleeve is holding up really nicely! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG++
The playing surface has a very nice shine to it but has a fair amount of light scuffs all over the playing surface along with a few slightly heavier looking scuffs. Nothing at all nasty, though!

The labels are clean with bright, silver text and no rubbing, stickers, writing etc. There's some light spindlewear and just a touch of whitening around the centrehole. Nice labels!
