Description

An original 1st press of GYYYO on the UK Decca label from 1970. Matrix 1W/1W - very 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Robert Stace printed fully laminated [back & front]. Some were printed by Upton others by Robert Stace - but it is generally accepted that 1st issue were fully laminated. Also included is an original blue and white Decca inner sleeve date coded to "07-70" two months prior to 1st release. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use.  Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A perfect illustration of the STONES live at the height of their powers...perhaps one of their finest moments. The audio from this release is particularly impressive given much of the recording is live feed. Even 'Love In Vain' - the test track...plays really nice and clean. That's when you know you have a low-mileage copy on your hands. Very difficult to find fault here it plays real sweet. I'll do my usual catch-all...you might detect a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. As good as it gets....superb!
Cover (Ex) In super condition and might grade higher, but for a couple of indentations on the rear. The front is nigh on perfect with barely a crease. It also seems to have avoided most of the usual laminate lift - just a touch along that  spine edge [almost obligatory]. The rear looks great and appears to have avoided the usual ageing process. There's one crease down in the bottom left corner and then a couple of minor indentations - but that's all! Edge wear is very very light indeed and the openings are still sharpish. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Very nice indeed!
Inner (Vg+) Bit of ageing. No splits though.
