THE VINYL: A couple of very light hairline marks on the disc which is a good Near Mint in my opinion. Some very light spindle wear and the labels are excellent with the distinctive yellow background and red tongue with black print. For a 51 year old record this is a great buy in this condition.
THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE: The outer sleeve is in excellent condition for its age and I would have called it NM but for some slight foxing to the front bottom edge, rear bottom edge and left side edge. The inner gatefold is NM with clear photographs and print. No pesky labels stuck on or writing on the sleeve. The outer sleeve has no major creasing or tears etc..The inner sleeve is excellent but probably not the original.
DELIVERY: I use good quality cardboard boxes with cardboard stiffeners and pack the disc outside of the sleeve. Post is by Signed For Royal Mail and I include a new plastic sleeve for storage. 
REVIEW : Howlin' Wolf is the greatest blues singer of all time. He was also a great band leader.The best record he ever did was Change My Way with Hubert Sumlin on lead guitar . On London Sessions the Wolf's vocals are different because he is getting older and Hubert is playing rhythm guitar while Eric Clapton plays lead guitar. These three factors have led to a lot of unfair criticism of this fine record. Those who dismiss the vocals on this record remind me of people who dis' Robert Plant's excellent latter day recordings because he can't sing the Immigrant Song like he did when he was 21 years old any longer. I'm a huge fan of Hubert Sumlin and he had a massive influence upon the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughn .However he had already played solos on recordings of most of the songs on London Sessions so why would he record them again. Recording them with Clapton was a great idea. Clapton plays very well on London Sessions and it increased the sales of this record. Young white people like myself often bought this record because E.C. was playing on it and it helped us appreciate the people like Chester Burnett who invented electric blues.
