Offered here is a beautiful white label promo copy of The Best Of The Doors on Elektra Records (60345-1). Pressed on high quality audiophile vinyl, this 2LP set is one of the more desirable 1980s Doors compilations and an especially appealing copy for collectors, with EX vinyl, an EX cover, and excellent original inner sleeves.
About the Release
Released in 1985, The Best Of The Doors was one of the most comprehensive Doors compilations issued up to that point, gathering key tracks from across the band’s six studio albums with Jim Morrison. The set was digitally remastered and presents a broad overview of the group’s catalog, from early classics like “Break On Through” and “Light My Fire” to later landmark tracks such as “L.A. Woman” and “Riders on the Storm.” It remains a popular anthology for listeners who want a wide-ranging overview of the band’s career.
