Description

GILBERT O'SULLIVAN - " A Woman's Place"

Format - 2 x 10" acetates (Mono and Stereo versions)

Condition - Near Mint to Mint

Country and year of maufacture - USA 1974

Blimey, Janet Street Walker must of had kittens when she heard this back in '74. Perhaps Gilbert should do a re-record or a straight re-issue, it might just finish her off.

For the connoisseurs, these are two separate 10" single sided acetates. One in mono, the other in Stereo. They were cut in Hollywood, so at a guess I'd say that he recorded there as well! Makes sense as he was a massive star back then, and more fun working in Hollywood than Holloway. They belonged to someone who used to work at Decca (MAM was a Decca subsidiary), and I'm probably the first to play them. Same version as the released one.
