A Very Good+ condition disc. Quite a lot of fine hairline surface marks / very light scratches on both sides. Nothing deep or serious. Lots of centre spindle marks. This record has been played a lot... BUT - No skips, jumps, warps, sticking, serious deep scratches, or writing on labels. Original MONO mixes.

This record actually plays very well, with very good sound overall. There is some occasional minior surface noise in places, but nothing too much at all. It is a very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Powerful-sounding MONO mix. Much better sound than the far weaker stereo mix of this LP.

A Poor condition laminated gatefold sleeve with flipbacks - "printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co."

The left side of this sleeve (front and back) has been attacked by cat claws at some point, and is somewhat torn and shredded as a result (see photos)

Other than that, it is generally in good condition, with some general wear, mainly to edges and corners. No major creasing. No writing anywhere. Good lamination. Spine a bit worn in places.

Supplied in company inner sleeve with polythene insert with "plastic bags can be dangerous" text. This is in very good condition, with a little creasing in places, no writing anywhere, and no seam splits. There is some age-related discolouration in places.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
