Description
I have made it a tradition to auction of my lyric journals at the end of each album cycle. This is my canvas, something that spent about half of a year with me, being filled with all the words (and potential words) that now live inside our 4th LP; 'The Dangerous Summer'. I write with violence, and with uncertainty. I will run with an idea, and I will tear it all down with pen marks. I have kept these journals exactly how they existed throughout the album process. You can see the flow in which I write, and you can see the pieces that were never seen. There are 3 pieces to this. I started writing with the first notebook, and filled it, bleeding over to a second notebook that is about halfway filled up. This notebook includes the entire album's master lyrics, written out in long form. Separate from these two notebooks is a notepad with the lyrics to 'Fire' scribbled on them. I will also include a AAA laminate from the tour in support of this album. This was our first tour back in 4 years time. I will also write a personal letter to the winner of the auction, that may also serve as proof of authenticity.
I will be donating a portion of the proceeds to The Best Friends Animal Society, as I have in the past. You can learn more about their mission at Bestfriends.org. I am not affiliated with them, just truly believe what they are doing to help animals.
