I'm now EIGHT YEARS into selling my immense collection of 1990s independent label ORIGINAL PROMO POSTERS, VINYL, CASSETTES, FLYERS & POSTCARDS. Most are from my hoard acquired whilst in the independent record/music business.

NOW I'm adding my (usually) MINT UNPLAYED VINYL FROM THE 1980s & 1990s to my fortnightly listings. Record shop fresh, stored for decades. Independent labels, guitar bands, and electronica (IDM, EDM) my speciality.

THIS IS AN ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THE COMPLETE PACKAGE OF THIS 1987 FIRST PRESS, STICKERED, LIMITED EDITION OF THE WEDDING PRESENT'S CLASSIC DEBUT ALBUM 'GEORGE BEST' WITH THE WHITE VINYL 7" & THE CARRIER BAG.

Looking at online sales histories for this item it seems that it has NEVER been offered as the complete package with mint condition records. And nearly all were missing the white 7” or the carrier bag.

This one is unplayed and has been in my record rack untouched since it was released in October 1987, with the sleeve protected by the carrier bag against all signs of ageing and wear. 

There were only 2000 stickered, and with the three track white vinyl of My Favourite Dress (plus two non album tracks). There were far fewer with the carrier bag and they tended to be used as... carrier bags (!) so they didn't survive. This limited edition was an exclusive for Rough Trade Distribution's 'Chain With No Name' of independent shops (like mine in Walthamstow, London) and we put the record IN the carrier bag as instructed (to promote the band and the album). UK records rarely (if ever) were factory sealed in those days (some big retailers like HMV shrink-wrapped records on site but this limited edition wasn't made available to them). 

All parts are MINT except for some light ring wear on the inner sleeve (bottom left section, band side), and a small crease (top left, band side) from manufacturing. Please note the apparent browning on the George side is just a shadow when photographed; it's pure white in real life! The bag is unused (except for housing the record) but has some creases from storage.

PLEASE NOTE: This is the LAST of the three I had in my collection. It will be near impossible to find this complete three part item again in this unbeatable condition.
