DESCRIPTION:The Beatles - Revolver. Scarce Decca Contract press- these only very rarely turn up for sale. Label has an extra indentation about 15mm from edge. Side 2's is more pronounced than side 1s. With matrix ending -2/-2, laminated flipback sleeve and black and yellow labels with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd" and "Sold In Uk" label text. Plain poly lined "Made In England" inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Parlophone PMC 1206: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1966. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG . Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and some light hairines. Played passages of both sides of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays not too far off EX. Music is clean, clear and loud with only an occasional soft tick. Cover is in nice clean shape, definately upper end VG. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, light corner wear and light creasing. Flipbacks are in excellent undamaged shape and rear of sleeve is pretty clean and white. Just two small areas of discolourtion. If you tilt this to the light you can see that there are some numbrs rinted in biro after the song title on the rear. Inner is in nice shape. It is clean and with light wear, no splits and fully attached poly. Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PROG/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
