RARE MONO FIRST PRESSING, AND WITH THE RARE ALTERNATE VERSION OF TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS, AND WITH A FIRST ISSUE E.J. Day Sleeve.

Serious collectors, this is a very rare pressing of The Beatles 1966 Iconic UK Album entitled Revolver. This beautiful example has rare side 2 matrix of, XEX 606-1. The LP comes in it’s original Made In Great Britain inner bag, and is housed in it’s original Ernest J. Day front laminated flipback first issue Revolver sleeve.

The Beatles ‘REVOLVER’ album is considered to be one of most ICONIC and COLLECTIBLE Albums of the 20th Century, and was released by Parlophone UK on the 5th August 1966. EXTREMELY SOUGHT AFTER by Collectors around the World today, this is a superb example of the RARE FIRST ISSUE mono VARIANT LP, with the side 2 matrix of **XEX 606-1**, containing the ALTERNATE VERSION of TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS, which features a few more Tape Loops, and a slightly longer Honky Tonk Piano at the end of the track. This rare version of Tomorrow Never Knows was never issued in other official format

Album Description and Condition:

The ORIGINAL 1966 UK mono, FIRST ISSUE Parlophone Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Sold in UK…..’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.

Both record labels are in superb undamaged Near Mint condition, super clean record labels with just a couple of very light signs of play to the centre of the record labels.

There is a *KT* Tax Code embossed to the centre of the side 1 record label.

Both sides of the heavyweight Vinyl Disc is in superb undamaged scratch free Near Mint condition, both sides of the vinyl disc are just superb, there are NO scratches or scuffs of any kind, all that is visible in strong lighting are a couple of very light insignificant surface hairlines.

Having carefully played the album through, as expected due to the condition of the vinyl disc, the play quality is stunning through all the tracks, there are no skips, clicks or pops or background crackle, and is particularly quiet between each track. This vinyl disc has been very well cared for by it’s previous owner.

The LP lays 100% flat on the turntable.

Side 1 matrix: XEX 605-2 and Side 2 **XEX 606-1**
This albums Mother Stampers: Side 1 are **7 OG** and Side 2 has the Mother Stamper: **3 OA**.

The LP comes in its ORIGINAL white Made in Great Britain inner bag which is in Excellent Plus condition. There is NO handwriting, seam splits or tears, just some natural age toning.

And is housed in its ORIGINAL, Front LAMINATED, FIRST ISSUE, Ernest J.Day & Co. Ltd. London sleeve, printed ‘mono’ to the top right hand corner.

The E.J. Day sleeve is in superb Excellent Plus towards Near Mint condition. The front laminated panel still retains its gloss shine, with NO signs of record storage. All corners and edges of the sleeve are free from damage. The Black, Back Panel of this sleeve is clean and undamaged, showing only light handling signs. The spine edge and other edges of this sleeve are undamaged.

This is a superb example and one of the better ones seen of this Iconic and Rare Variant First Issue Beatles 1966 UK Revolver Album.
