Description

The Beatles - Songs from the film "A Hard's Night" - Stereo - Parlophone Yellow/Black Label - PCS 3058 - 1964 - UK - 1st Pressing with Sold in U.K. label text - Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd, single sleeve - with mid-sized Stereo on the front cover is in really nice condition. 
I have just played both sides:-

  • SIDE A:  Played almost perfectly - with just 2 or 3 minor crackles during track 5 - Very Good/Excellent.  Matrix Nos: YEX 126-1
  • THE LABEL:  Very Good/Excellent - A few spindle marks
  • SIDE B:  Played Well - Just a few occasional light crackles - Very Good/Excellent.  Matrix Nos:  YEX 127-1
  • THE LABEL:  Excellent - Minimal spindle wear
  • THE SLEEVE:  The record has been kept in a plastic sleeve for many years, therefore the sleeve is in Excellent Condition.  It is not dirty, there is no writing and no tears.  It is nearly as good as the day it was purchased.  There is just some very minor creasing, which is quite difficult to see.  The spine is also in Excellent condition, with all the text intact and really easy to read.

I always grade my records using the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide:-
EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging might have slight wear and /or creasing.
VERY GOOD:  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.  Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects, is acceptable.
