Description
This is a wonderful 2 record set on Vee Jay Records and is essentially a repackaging of Introducing The Beatles along with The Golden Hits of The Four Seasons. The gatefold cover is in VG+ condition with some minor rubbing (ring wear) and small scratches on the front. The back cover was "scored" by a previous owner (The Beatles won of course) who thought otherwise about rating the groups and attempted to erase what was probably written with a ball point pen. Not a great attempt at erasing but nevertheless this cover is still solid with 4 decent corners.
Please look at the photographs to see some splitting on the top back seam (about 4") and about a 1" split in the top right front cover seam. All other seams are solid with no splits! The original inner sleeves are in good shape but each have splits on 3 sides. The inside gatefold is very clean and in very nice shape. Cover - VG+
The Beatles vinyl is in VG+ condition and the playback is quite enjoyable. There are sleeve marks and other blemishes on the record along with occasional clicks and pops but overall very good condition and you will be happy with the sound. The labels are clean with very minor spindle marks. The Four Seasons record was obviously not played much. It too has some sleeve scrapes and marks but does not affect the playback. The fidelity is really good and an enjoyable listen. VG++
I am including a copy (reproduction) of the poster that originally accompanied this set. This is a slightly glossy poster and not the original size. I have attempted to describe this set accurately and not over grade. Please view all photographs! This is a very decent set and I am starting at a low opening bid price.
