WITH ONLY 900 COPIES REPUTED TO HAVE BEEN PRODUCED THESE ELUSIVE ALBUMS RARELY SURFACE FOR SALE.

I would grade this album as good, it plays all the way through with no jumps and sits flats on the turntable. The heavy vinyl sounds surprising good for a 47 year old record. There are 3 light scrathes on side 1, causing some light crackles and surface noise.There is some mild distortion on the last track Please please me, not sure if this is the echo they added or because of it being over played. On side 2 there are some scruff marks, 3 light scrathes and 1 deeper scratch (See photo) from half way through track 5, A taste of Honey until half way into track 7 twist and shout. This causing some light popping throughout ,but no jumps or repeats and still sounds good.

The record come in a nice Emitex inner sleeve

The Labels are a little worn with some light writing (someones name) in pen on Side 2 (See photo) although it is hard to see.

The cover has some water staining on the front (Under the laminate) and back. The sleeve has come apart in the past in several places on the edges with some edge pieces missing and is not in great condition (see photos) Again there is some writing on the back and some fading and creasing.

I have tried to be as honest as possible in my description of this record, as I am aware, that it is still a very rare record. Having said that, it does play all the way through and the stereo seperation still sounds fresh and give me a tingle, when I hear John and Paul coming though the speakers and think that someone, bought that album all those years ago and the excitment they must have felt hearing it in Stereo.
