Description
You are bidding on an original MONO 1962 recording of BILL EVANS AND JIM HALL "UNDERCURRENT"
UNITED ARTISTS. UAJ 14003
Played on a Rega turntable, I would estimate the vinyl at VG+. There's a superficial stylus mark intersecting "Skating in Central Park, and "Darn that Dream". that's barely audible for approximately 50 rotations of the vinyl before becoming inaudible. I heard the lightest click for a number of rotations near the beginning of "My Funny Valentine", but then it played cleanly. I heard a little noise on "I hear a Rhapsody". A pressing issue that I heard about for this recording isn't at all apparent to me. Any "noise" or sounds seem to be typical of a previous handling issue. It's a great recording and this is definitely a copy you can enjoy.
The Gatefold cover is estimated at a strong VG++ with minor seam wear along the top edge and minimally bumped corners. The interior is quite clean.
The record will be shipped in a new container with the vinyl removed from the sleeve and everything within a poly bag.
