Description
A 1st pressing of BFS on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N. Stampers 1-APT/23-RPM. The heavy set vinyl comes house in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb condition, shiny like new, and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is pretty much totally absent. We didn't detect more than a couple of crackles [literally] the whole way through. the audio quality off these early copies is astounding - you just can't beat a copy like this...
Cover (Ex) In superb shape and has clearly been looked after carefully down the years. The BFS cover is a real difficult one to find in top condition due to the design of the cover, but this one is in very very decent condition. The only vaguely noticeable deterioration is that creasing at the bottom edge of the front cover. Other than that there is little to complain at. The colours are all still bold and vibrant. Laminate lifting and creasing is very minimal. Edge wear is very light too. Even the spine is entirely intact - very difficult to find. A superb example!
