Description
This is the original UK LP by The BEATLES, BEATLES FOR SALE, December 1964 Mono 1st Press on the black and yellow PARLOPHONE label PMC 1240.
With 'PARLOPHONE CO.LTD' around the rim of the label, 'SOLD IN THE UK' label credits and 'RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964' label credits
Matrix numbers are:- Side 1:- XEX 503-4N , Side 2:- XEX 504-4N

The original 1st UK 1964 issue Garrod and Lofthouse laminated cover, is in EX+++ condition. The thickly laminated outside of the cover maintains all it's beautiful rich deep colour, gleaming!. The corners and edges and sharp and crisp, and lovely to see the 'pinched top and bottom left corners inside no rips or tears, clean. Their is no unwanted writing. The broad spine is fully intact, clean and perfectly readable.
This is such a beautiful cover, a notoriously hard cover to find in such great condition as this, due to its flimsy construction.
This is 'the' best original UK BEATLES FOR SALE cover I have seen in many years, simply beautiful!
The vinyl is in EX+++ / MINT- condition.!!, Side 1 is MINT- !, Side 2 is EX+, due to 2 small light non-audioable marks, the vinyl gleams with all it's original shine and lustre!
. The vinyl plays MINT-, only a 'hint' of very light crackle to be heard inbetween some tracks and one very light and quick pop (blink and your miss it) on 'Words of Love' side 2, track 2.
This is really a sheer delight to listen too, particularly John Lennon's vocals are sublime, crisp and clear, a superb 1st pressing and equally impressive all round powerful Mono sound!, GREAT GREAT PLAYING VINYL!!!!!, BREATH TAKING QUALITY!!!!!
The PARLOPHONE label's are in EX+++ / MINT- condition, lovely and clean, no unwanted writing, little or no wear to the centre spindle hole, MT tax code embossed on side 2's label
The vinyl is housed in its original 1964 UK "USE EMITEX" die-cut inner sleeve and is in EX condition, no unwanted writing, no seam splits.
