'Beatles for Sale' the very 1st pressing from 1964 on UK Parlophone. Matrix -3N/-3N. The LP comes housed in an original gatefold cover including Emitex inner sleeve. 100% original & 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) Remains in great condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few marks - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a near EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. The audio comes across with great clarity and only occasional light interference. We only detected some light static in a couple of the tracks - and that really is all that's worth mentioning. And certainly nothing that interferes with what is a very very decent level of playback. This Beatles classic needs a quality pressing to do it justice and this one more than delivers the goods.
Cover (Vg+) Often found in a bit worse for wear condition this particular cover has survived the years much better than most. The front cover is nice and shiny with only a bit of creasing down in the bottom right corner. The rear exhibits some light ring wear, but is in excellent condition in all other respects. The text on the spine is intact and overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity. A terrific little specimen.
