'The Beatles For Sale' RED VINYL
Japanese edition of 'Beatles For Sale' on RED vinyl complete with the original insert. Record: Record is glossy, translucent RED VINYL in NEAR MINT condition.
Label: Odeon Records, silver print on black Odeon/EMI label. Both sides very clean labels/No Spindle Marks in NEAR MINT condition. Sleeve: Beautiful picture-sleeve photo-cover in NEAR MINT condition.
Insert: Original, clean, uncreased booklet-style foldout with pictures in NEAR MINT condition.
Fourteen-track original MONO issue LP complete with original four page fold-out insert with info and lyrics in both English and Japanese. Manufactured and printed in Japan, on excellent vinyl, with the technical skill and care, typical of high quality Japanese pressings.
'Beatles For Sale' was first released in the mid sixties, breaking new ground for pop music with diverse instrumentation added to the Beatles basic sound. The album zoomed to number one in the charts and remained in the top twenty for most of the year.
With plenty of rock, musical sophistication and an acoustic, folksy R&B feel, it has remained popular.
Opening with "No Reply" the dynamics and tonal variation of the four Beatles blend beautifully.
John's voice is crystal clear in "I'm a Loser", followed by the blues-style (two minute) "Baby's in Black".
Chuck Berry's classic "Rock and Roll Music" lifts the tempo as does "Kansas City".
The flip side opens with the rocking rhythm of "Eight Days A Week", a fan favourite that captures all the excitement of sixties Beatles mania.
