Description
This is the first pressing from May 1981 with had the colored dog and gun disc labels, used by the Ruthless Rhymes company.
Each side looks nm with very clean labels, there is a click at the beginning of side F for a few turns, there's some noise on the other discs that indicates some were taken off other bootleg albums. Looks like some non-fill here and there. I'm not including photos - the full color label images were taken from the National Lampoon Magazine #34 from 1974 and has a gun pointed at a dog with the text "Buy This Magazine or We'll Shoot This Dog" - it was in jest as part of National Lampoon's dark humor but I do not want to post this image.
I purchased this new in 1981, only played it once. I've kept it in its original shrink wrap with the records stored outside of the jacket, together in yet another plastic sleeve, to keep the ring wear to a minimum.
It was hard to get decent photos of the album jacket hope these suffice - the jacket is vg++, as you can see there are some issues at the opening and in the corners, ringwear is minimal.
Labels on all three albums only indicate side 1 and side 2. Two dots appear over the numbers 1, and 2 The letters scribed in the dead wax indicate each of the six sides as follows

COMMENTS This 3 LP set contains the entire SWEET APPLE TRAX material (with some minor differences of a few seconds here and there) and more Twickenham/Apple outtakes (already surfaced on WATCHING RAINBOWS, except for tracks 7 to 11 and 24). The overall sound quality here is slightly better than in the previously released records. The package is an absolute classic: a gatefold black cover, with "THE BEATLES" embossed in black, and including a large color poster too, just like the "White Album". The back of the poster reports the transcription of dialogues from the January 1969 sessions, from the "Get back" book.
