Description
Seminal first release by the Who in stunning condition. This mono gem floored me when I saw it in an antique mall in a corner of a sellers space. You are probably never going to a copy of this sonically equivalent to the conditiion of this one, even the lead in groove is dead quiet thru headphones!!!
Vinyl Visual Condition: NM Only a handful of very faint handling marks only visible under bright light, vinyl is glossy and looks almost new
Cover Condition: VG+ Cover has some creasing and some ring wear as seen in the picture, spine is intact and the original inner is included.
Playback: NM From start to finish just stunning, after I cleaned it and played it I was just amazed at how clean it was. No 50 year old substances laying in the grooves unseen, it looks mint and it plays mint, just stunning.
My Cleaning and Care Process: All LP's have been cleaned in an ultrasonic tank then cleaned on a VPI 17.5 with L'Art du Son cleaner and Disc Doctor brushes. Deionized water rinse on a VPI 16.5 with Disc Doctor brushes. 90% of all the records have also been treated with the "Reg Williamson LP Cleaner" that I make at my home. (The original recipe for Record Revirginizer). Basically you won't get cleaner records anywhere. Once cleaned LP is placed in a Diskeeper inner sleeve and jacket is placed in an outer sleeve.
Packaging: I use LP mailers with cardboard stiffeners. The LP is placed outside the jacket. The box had fragile stickers placed on each side of the mailer.
